Around Plaza del Pilar and Calle Alfonso. Everything walkable, the liveliest streets, slightly higher rents.
Dense and well-connected next to the main station. One of the most affordable areas, popular with international students.
Newer district north of the Ebro, near the Río Ebro campus. Modern buildings and quieter streets.
The old town's tapas maze. Small flats, plenty of nightlife, best if you don't mind noise.
Residential and local, east of the centre. Good value and an easy tram or bus ride to campus.
Zaragoza is flat and compact, so most student journeys are walkable or a short bike ride — the city has an extensive cycle-lane network and the Bizi public bike scheme. A single tram line crosses the city north to south and connects Actur with the university area, complemented by the urban bus network. Both UNIZAR campuses are inside the city; Universidad San Jorge sits in Villanueva de Gállego, reached by a dedicated bus service.
